Ken Norris

Ken Norris is the Executive Director of Shires Media Partnership Inc, the non-profit owner of radio station WBTN 1370 AM. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the station.

Norris has a journalism degree from Humboldt State University and a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Berkshire Community College. He worked as Editor of the North Adams (Ma.) Transcript newspaper and as arts/entertainment editor at the Easton (Pa.) Express-Times newspaper. He has performed marketing and public relations for a Williamstown (Ma.) land development company and, most recently, worked four years as Sports Information Coordinator at Bennington?s Southern Vermont College. He is a published free-lance writer, most recently having an essay published in the 2008 edition of The Mailer Review.

Norris and his wife, TJ, have lived in Pownal, Vt., for nearly 10 years with their dog Rastus.
