Brian Dempsey |
Brian was hired by the Shires Media Partnership in June of 2008 as the office manager and traffic coordinator. In less than a year Brian was promoted to Marketing Coordinator for WBTN. Brian is originally from the Springfield, Massachusetts area and came to Bennington in 1995 with the Wal*Mart corporation. Brian was the Community Involvement Coordinator for 6 stores in this region. Brian has 3 children with 1 (Michael) still in school. Michael was one of the founding members of North Bennington Graded School “Kids Rock Radio” ,WNBGS 1580 AM, a 100 m/w radio station that broadcasts from the school. WNBGS was made possible by the Shires Media Partnership and has a second station ready to be launched at the middle school in Bennington which Brian & Michael will be a part of. Brian is an active member of the American Legion Post 13 in Bennington where he has prepared New Years Eve dinner for the past 5 years. Brian also enjoys reading non-fiction books, cooking and card sending. |
