Rich Ryder

Rich moved to the Bennington area about 30 years ago with his wife Kathy. They raised two children and are currently grandparents of two lovely grandchildren.

Rich has owned and operated DJ Rich Ryder, a successful business for 19 years.

Rich has always been involved in community affairs. He was the past president of the Pownal Lions club, an active Bennington area Chamber of Commerce.

Rich came to WBTN in the year 2002 as an on-air personality. He created the show "The Learning Curve of Life with Rich Ryder", an afternoon drive time call-in show that caught the attention of many area listeners. Rich was then asked to move to mornings to host and produce a wake up show that would deliver local and state news, mixed with informative interviews. Community issues combined with hometown comfort and humor delight many of our area listeners. "Daybreak with Rich Ryder" airs Monday through Friday 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM.

Rich says, "It's everything you need to get a great start on your day from Fun Day Monday to Free for all Friday".
