WBTN offers program for local writers to read their work

WBTN 1370 AM, non-profit community radio for the greater Bennington area, this week debuted “The Written Word on WBTN,” a locally-produced program where local writers – both published and unpublished – are invited to read their original works for broadcast. The Written Word runs each Monday at 11 a.m.

Persons interested in having their work considered for broadcast should send a copy of the work, along with contact information, to ken@wbtnam.org  or mail to WBTN. The works can be no longer than 25 minutes in total spoken length, and can be much shorter; they can be essay, fiction and non-fiction short stories, excerpts from larger works, or poetry. The submission should contain no profanity or overt sexual situations. There will be no payment for works accepted for broadcast and WBTN reserves the right to reject any work from any writer.
